In-person sessions in a focused learning environment in the Bothell/Mill Creek area

Individualized math learning plans based on initial assessment, parent survey, student self-assessment, and classroom teacher input

Parent reports include: initial evaluation identifying skills and areas for support, monthly progress reports tracking growth towards Common Core State Standards.

Student may require sessions weekly or twice weekly, depending on needs, learning targets, and ability to keep up in class and with classwork
Initial Assessment

1 hour session assessing grade level readiness, areas of strength and improvement, learning style

Consultation with classroom teacher, when available

Weekly 1:1 Support

Designed to support classroom teaching for students who need more time, consistent review, and/or homework support

Includes practice with teacher with reteaching as needed, supplemental instruction to address skill deficits and gaps

Meet once or twice weekly based on needs and goals, and ability to keep up in class​

Monthly reports for parents tracking progress towards learning targets and math skills

Small Groups

Small groups of 2-4 students focusing on models and mathematical thinking ​

Meets weekly to review and practice through group discussions, partner work, and high quality math games

Emphasis on fact fluency, efficient strategies, group work skills, and academic vocabulary
